Picture day in the park

Celeste and I went for a walk this afternoon. We got a few photos of the surrounding area and the park, and some of Ms. Blue Eyes, of course. Behold:

Celeste on guard, above and below. Watching for pigeons...

An apartment building close to the park. Apartment buildings are going up everywhere!

Houses on the block. I like the blue one.

The front door of a house nearby.

There among the plants is the pigeon that Celeste wanted to play with...

Back home again!

Celeste is a beauty!

With our malamute, we've started scootering with him (urban mushing) since regular walks and runs don't seem to tire him out. He loves it! Celeste is too young now to pull a scooter, but I bet she'd be a champ at it when she's an adult.

Hi Kathleen, Celeste is absolutely adorable. The second photo of her looks so proud as she watches pigeons.

What an unusual looking dog celeste is, and those eyes!!

Just been catching up. Interested to hear more about your crafting. MANY years ago I used to work for a yarn agents and merchants who introduced me to alpaca yarns etc-wonderful handle to the garments. I wish I could knit more, but not good for my arthritus.

warm wishes

A beauty, a cutie, a monster with a sweet face...I wish I could trust her to run freely through the apartment, but when she thinks we aren't looking, she takes a squat on the floor. Luckily, she understands that chewing has to be confined to her own toys and hasn't damaged any furniture or shoes or eaten any underpants.

Celeste doesn't seem to get tired at all with walks and runs. She seems to be a running machine. She needs a job that will tire her out without doing damage to her. I've been thinking about getting a set of little saddle bags for her to wear, so she can carry her own food home from the market. They sell it by the kilo here, instead of by the 40 pound bag, so she could conceivably carry a couple of kilos home on her shoulders.

Those are great pictures. Celeste is really growing into a good looking dog. I am lucky that shepherds dont have the energy that a lot of breeds do, they are more like "go with the flow" sort of dogs. If I'm laying on the couch, so are they, ha ha ha. I think a job is important though, ours each have something they do each day when they go to work with us. Avery has become the greeter, running to each guy as they come in for the day. It so reminds me of Shadow. I enjoy having a dog like that again. Have a great day.
