the pictures


Here are pictures of the first skein of the Superfreak (now known as Blueberries) yarn. I think it is fingering weight yarn - smaller than double knit, but more substantial than lace weight. What I will do with fingering weight yarn I have no idea. I hope there is enough to make a project with!


This is the yarn with some of the roving.

Wow. That is so pretty. I love the colors. Is that the original roving? That is so cool. It looks totally different from what it turns into. Amazing.

I know, I know. Chemo caps are not all that, but she can wear them around the house. Plus, if I give her really plain ones, she has all sorts of accessories to dress them up.

Nice yarn! I need to get reacquainted with my drop spindle. I almost always reach for my wheel when I need a fiber high.

That is beautiful yarn! Maybe it could become socks or gloves. Then again, it's beautiful just to look at as is!
