...that's right, I'm a knitting and a spinner. I spin fuzz, alpaca fuzz mostly, and I knit almost any kind of fiber I can get my hands on. At the moment, I am in the midst of a granny square sweater. I don't usually like granny squares, but this pattern looks interesting and I'm up for it, so I'll give it a shot. The worst that can happen is that I won't like it and will rip it out, tie a bunch of knots, and make something else out of it.
The sweater is made of acrylic yarn, but NICE acrylic. The pattern calls for all granny squares, but I'm thinking about putting crocheted lace on the bottom and maybe beading the edges. We'll see how it turns out.
