I tried to ply some wool yarn with nylon one time, thinking that it would be an automatic reinforcement, and the nylon actually cut through the wool when the sock was worn.Wooly Workshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08310287894682760233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4284868442252200576.post-75630428234500022722008-03-28T16:37:00.000-05:002008-03-28T16:37:00.000-05:00Yumpin'Yimminy! I have to say that this yarn really is coming out much finer and firmer than the green wool. If I can keep the strands consistent, it could be sock yarn, or maybe just a bit heavier than lace weight yarn.

I really like the tweedy look of this as it spins up. I wonder if plying it with another strand of the same would mess it up. What do you think?Kathleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05301635466561126804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4284868442252200576.post-18451304551907498992008-03-28T09:11:00.000-05:002008-03-28T09:11:00.000-05:00I really like this color, too.
