I do NOT plan to make the mohawk hat, unless someone wants a Halloween costume topper, but there are some sweaters in there that are cool, even if the model has flames tattooed on her arms. And I need short rows explained, along with some other techniques that I know I'm doing wrong, so this will be good, regardless of the presentation.Kathleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05301635466561126804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4284868442252200576.post-66628081589210973552008-03-18T09:08:00.000-05:002008-03-18T09:08:00.000-05:00There was a rash of "punk" looking knitting books ...There was a rash of "punk" looking knitting books in the bookstore last fall. I picked up a couple of them and had to laugh at some of the pictures and projects. Weird, just weird. Macho looking tattoed women in lots of leather and chains and really tiny clothing knitting fishnet stockings, head bands with skulls on them and odd sleeves with no bodice attached. So when this one appeared I just passed on by and didn't give it a look at all. Just goes to show you that first impressions aren't always correct and an open mind is a priceless possession.

I just picked up an amigurumi book, just by way of comparison. A little on the polar ends of things, aren't we?Wooly Workshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08310287894682760233noreply@blogger.com
